Villanelle poems are challenging to write; however, they are also fun to write. Poems are supposed to make the reader think of something else: an image, a memory, or a feeling. Try to write a Villanelle poem and see how your words can be put into an amazing piece. Follow the Villanelle poem format below: The last word of the 1st and third line need to rhyme in every stanza. The 1 st , then the 3 rd lines alternate as the last lines of the stanzas 2,3,4, and 5, then stanza 6 the end as a couplet.
