Andrew Cuomo's administration published guidance in recent days expanding on his Sunday announcement that "low-risk" youth sports leagues can resume play early next month, easing COVID restrictions that have been in place since March. The new guidance gave soccer leagues the green light to begin holding matches July 6, adding the sport to a prior list that included baseball, softball, field hockey, crew, gymnastics and cross country.
